| Our Chapter
was "seeded" in February 1984 with an announcement to the
Genealogical Society of Putnam County, and was begun officially on
October 1984. It has been active in the community ever
since.
Our Chapter members are
dedicated to patriotism, historic preservation, education,
citizenship, and a sound family structure.

Our meetings are held
on the third Sunday, October to May.
To become a member of
NSDAR, you must be 18 years old and able to prove lineal, blood line
descent from an ancestor who served or aided in achieving American
independence. You must provide documentation for each statement of
birth, marriage, and death.
These documents should
show the connection between child and both parents, working back to
the Revolutionary War ancestor. Contact the Registrar for
a worksheet, instructions, and an application to prepare when your
information is documented and
assembled. |
